Tom Vocatura, Principal & CEO

This is the passion and excitement that Tom Vocatura brings to his profession as the principal and CEO of Charles River Insurance Brokerage. Coming from a family of CPAs, it was natural for Tom to focus his insurance efforts on accountants … and with a minor in law from Bentley College, attorneys were also a natural fit — especially in the area of malpractice.
Tom’s insurance career began in 1993, shortly after graduating from Bentley College. While working at the insurance agency, Tom became friends with Gerry Kennedy. In 1998, Tom and Gerry became partners in the agency, and in 2000, they combined their experience and resources and bought the agency, which today is known as Charles River Insurance Brokerage.
Tom’s key to success can be attributed to his interpersonal skills which help him win the trust of his clients in their diverse insurance needs. He makes insurance easy for people to understand and excels at keeping it simple and uncomplicated. “Once you buy insurance from me, you never have to worry about it again. When you hire me, you can trust me to provide you with customized solutions for all of your insurance needs.”
Tom is appreciative of the long-term relationships he has developed with his clients over the years. He works hard to strengthen and expand those relationships as much as possible— especially on the golf course. Tom is licensed in property and casualty, life, accident and health insurance. He is also investment licensed.
Tom is engaged to be married and lives in Framingham. He has 2 daughters, Lauren and Megan.
