Jerome Guerard, VP National Entertainment Insurance
Aside from general insurance, Jerome has two very distinct industry profiles: entertainment and construction insurance.
Jerome’s clients reap the rewards of his efforts in having created the most comprehensive insurance program in the digital and entertainment industries. Podcasts, streaming music/video, “web 2.0”, dot coms, and software have been fusing with film and television. The liabilities and risks are brand new and very complex. However, Jerome’s extensive experience in the world of technology with global clients provides him the expertise and knowledge to proficiently provide the appropriate coverage.
As odd as it may sound, the creation of the entertainment program came from extensive experience working in the construction industry. “I saw the similarities between the production of a film and the construction of a building — so many subcontractors and so much overlap. That’s why it’s so important that coverage for my clients be air tight”.
Jerome has worked with industrial and residential construction for over four years having provided sound coverage, as well as industry knowledge, in order to best provide a full “risk management” service. From waste haulers to excavators, Jerome not only puts together insurance packages, but also has his clients enrolled in the Massachusetts Subcontractors Program, which provides a dividend plan for its members should the climate be appropriate.
Jerome is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to broker property and casualty insurance. He is a member of the MAIA (Massachusetts Association of Independent Agencies) and the Massachusetts Producer’s Coalition, a non-profit serving the film and entertainment community.
