Adam
Ellis, Principal
“I
never give up, especially when it involves complex accounts
that are labor intensive and require a lot of effort.”
Adam’s
determination and perseverance is clearly evident once you
meet him. He isn’t pretentious when his clients
have concerns that are outside of the ordinary nor does he
rush to answer a question simply to deliver a quick solution.
Instead, Adam methodically reviews all aspects of the account
and completes extensive research in order to provide his
client with the appropriate answer or solution — even
if it keeps him up all night. Adam’s clients really
appreciate this extra effort, and it further inspires their
confidence in him. “I’ll never give a client an answer
if I’m not 100% sure.”
Pertaining to the technical
side of the business, Adam ensures the agency remains on
the cutting edge by testing and implementing state-of-the-art
hardware and software solutions to maximize management
systems and further enhance client services. Forward thinking
is an attribute of Adam’s creative side. “Finding
the right mix of both large and small, and both regional
and national insurance carriers, and discovering what they
excel at, is how the agency provides unique solutions for
underserved markets. We’re not content to get the big
three insurance carriers and never explore what else is out
there.”
In 2005, while running another
insurance agency, Adam met Gerry and Tommy who had already
formed their own agency. After joining them, the three
combined Gerry’s skill
and knowledge of underwriting, and Tommy’s interpersonal
skills and passion for insurance, with Adam’s ability
to creatively and logistically develop the infrastructure.
Adam, along with his partners, Gerry and Tommy, comprise
the exceptional team that exists today — the
Charles River Difference.
Adam graduated from Gettysburg
College in 1994 and has a Degree in Philosophy. He presently
lives in Medway with his wife and daughter. Adam’s
determination and perseverance are further evident in his
personal life. In 1995, Adam won the Boston Marathon’s
Quadriplegic Division, and then went on to race four more
times. While Adam’s key competency is in commercial
lines of insurance, he also provides personal lines of insurance
to his clients.
